The Queen:
The Queen is the most important in the family. Queen Elizabeth II (Elizabeth Alexandra Mary) was born on 21 April, 1926 at 17 Bruton Street, London. Her birthday is officially celebrated in Britain on the second Saturday of June each year. The day is referred to as “the Trooping of the Colour”, the official name is “the Queen’s Birthday Parade”.
She's supported in her official duties by other working members of the Royal Family who carry out a wide range of public engagements. The Queen has taken part in many things such as charities.
WILLIAM AND KATE ENGAGEMENT AND WEDDING:
William asked Kate to marry him in November 2010 when they were on holiday in Africa.
He gave Kate a sapphire engagement ring which belonged to his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales. “The ring is special to me,” says William. The British public love Kate and want a fairytale princess. It's a lot of pressure and responsibility for her. William's grandmother, the Queen, is “delighted” about the wedding.
Now, ten years later, on 29 April, the British public will finally get their royal wedding.
COMPARE WITH THE SPANISH:
The most important in the British Royal Family is the queen Elizabe
th ll, and the most important in the Spanish Royal family is a king Juan Carlos.
There are more members in the Spanish Royal Family and in the British Royal Family there are less.
Britain's shield is different arms of Spain.
